Advanced Search Tips

GoDefy Advanced Search offers various search term input, and filter and sort options to help you find exactly what you're looking for. You can reach the Advanced Search page by clicking the "Advanced Search" link located to the right of the search forms on most pages.

With advanced search, you can get find products and services:

Here is the Advanced Search page, along with brief explanations of the various types of search input, filter and sort options available.

  1. GoDefy Search button - Click this button, or press "Enter" on your keyboard, to submit a search query.
  2. Find results with all these words search box - Only returns results that contain all the search terms.
  3. Find results with exact phrase search box - Only returns results that contain the exact keyword phrase.
  4. Find results with any of these words search box - Returns all results that contain any of the search terms.
  5. Find results without these words search box - Returns results that do not contain the search terms. You must enter one or more search term into the "Find results... with all these words/with exact phrase/with any of these words" to use this one.
  6. Results Per Page filter - Click the pull down menu to select the number of search results displayed per page. The default is 10.
  7. Category filter - Click the pull down menu to select the category you only want to view products for. Default is any category.
  8. Sort By options - Click the pull down menu to select the sort option, and the search results will automatically be sorted by the chosen option. Default is "Best Match".
  9. Price filter - Enter the price range you want results to be within.
  10. Format filter - Check the checkboxes to select the formats you want to view products for. Default is all checkboxes checked.
  11. Check All / Uncheck All buttons - Click the Check All button to check all the Format filter options, and click the Uncheck All button to uncheck all the Format filter options.
  12. Platform filter - Check the checkboxes to select the platforms you want to view products for. Default is all checkboxes checked.
  13. Check All / Uncheck All buttons - Click the Check All button to check all the Platform filter options, and click the Uncheck All button to uncheck all the Platform filter options.
  14. Launched filter - Click the pull down menu to select the date range you only want to view products for. Default is anytime.
  15. GoDefy Search button - Click this button, or press "Enter" on your keyboard, to submit a search query.
