GoDefy > Help > Interpreting Product Pages
Product pages are packed with product specific information. Here's a quick guide to what you'll find:
- Click the product title to go to the merchant's webpage.
- Click the category, author, or company links to view all the products and services belonging to the category, author, or company, respectively.
- Click the "Click to enlarge" link displayed underneath the product photo to view a larger version of the image.
- Click the open new window icons
displayed to the right of text links to open the link in a new web browser window. This way you can view more than one product or merchant webpage at the same time, and never lose your position.
Sample Product Page
Here is a sample product page, along with brief explanations of the various types of information on the page.
- Breadcrumb trail - For quick and easy reference of where you are in the site. The links allow you to backtrack and to move up the hierarchy.
- Item title - Name of product or service.
- Quick jump links - Click these links to quickly jump to the relevant section on the page.
- Item image - A thumbnail image or screenshot of the product or service. Click on the image to enlarge.
- Enlarge item image link - Click the link to enlarge the image. Click the open in new window image to enlarge the image in a new web browser window.
- Item information - Information about the product or service.
- Product website link - Click this link to visit the product website.
- Product website open in new window link - Click the image to visit the product website in a new web browser window.
- Related / similar item links - Click these links for related or similar items.
