AutoResponse Plus is a server-based email autoresponder software program that automates the task of sending scheduled, follow-up email marketing messages and broadcast newsletters. The software and data is held entirely on your server. So there are no monthly fees, and no 3rd party ads in any of your outgoing messages. Main features include the option to create and run an unlimited number of follow-up autoresponders, add an unlimited number of messages to each autoresponder, over 70 tags for personalizing and adding dynamic content to your messages, subject lines, headers and footers, request subscription confirmation from subscribers, permission-based opt-in confirmation, subscribers may choose plain text or HTML email, and much, much more. System requirements:
- A web site hosted on a shared or dedicated web server running UNIX or Linux (not Windows NT or 2000)
- MySQL (at least 3.23.39)
- Perl 5.005 or greater with your own CGI-BIN
- FTP access for installing and configuring the software
- Sendmail, Qmail or Exim on your server (Exim and Qmail are much faster than Sendmail)
- Ability to create and run cron tasks in your domain
- PHP4 (this is used only for message open-rate tracking)
- Access to the MySQLDump and MySQL utility programs for backing up and restoring data
