Description
Secure-eBook is an ebook publishing and protection system that encrypts Adobe PDF files within a Windows program producing a sample ebook. You then distribute the sample ebook to potential customers, who then preview the sample and gain access to the full book by purchasing an activation key.
The ebook is only unlocked for the person who bought it. If the ebook is copied to another computer, the ebook reverts back to sample mode. The new reader can preview the sample ebook and purchase their own activation key. At your discretion, you may allow clients to install their copy of the ebook on more than one computer - you decide the limit.
When a customer clicks on the "Buy Now!" button within your ebook, a web browser opens and displays the Secure-eBook's purchase page (or yours if you prefer). They enter their contact information and submits their order.
Your customer is then sent to the payment processor you configured in your Secure-eBook account. Secure-eBook supports most popular payment processing systems, including PayPal, ClickBank, WorldPay, and Authorize.net.
Once the payment is confirmed by the payment processor, the Secure-eBook system will record the transaction in your account and an activation key will be sent to your customer. The key sent to your customer comes with all the necessary information that will allow them to activate the new full version of the ebook they just purchased.
If a customer calls you directly to buy your ebook, you just use the manual order function in your Secure-eBook account. You also have the option of generating a bunch of activation keys in order to send CD versions along with a valid activation key.
All sales transactions are recorded in your Secure-eBook account. You can then display a sales report for a specified time period or see how often your ebooks were activated, opened or disabled. You can even monitor one specific activation and take action on it. This enables you to disable, refund and re-enable a specific copy of your ebook used by one of your clients.
You manage your refund requests coming from your customers. You decide if you accept them or not. And once you accept a refund request, the customer won't be able to access his copy of your ebook anymore.
