Apple’s CarPlay 2.0 is officially delayed

Click here for more.Apple has officially confirmed the CarPlay 2.0 delay. The company’s official CarPlay website said the first vehicles with its next-generation CarPlay would arrive in 2024. However, only three weeks into 2025, the folks at MacRumors spotted Apple has updated its US CarPlay page, removing the 2024 timeframe.  Apple only removed the timeframe from its next-generation CarPlay page, suggesting that the new software will still be released at some point in the future. However, Apple has not provided a timeline at this point.  Apple assures CarPlay 2.0 development is ongoing  Apple first showcased CarPlay 2.0 at the WWDC 2022, promising to launch it by 2024.
