Gemini Live is a conversational AI embedded within the Gemini app for Android. Unlike traditional chatbot interactions, which often rely on highly structured text prompts, Gemini Live aims to mimic a natural conversation. Users receive a full discussion transcript when a session ends, but they must manually ask for a summary. This limitation has led to workarounds, such as copying individual responses for summarization—an inefficient and tedious process. Google is improving Gemini Live interactions Recent findings from a Google app beta (version 16.6.23) suggest that Google is developing an automated summarization feature. Popular Google app researcher and tipster AssembleDebug on X told Android Authority about a hidden mechanism where the app submits a predefined prompt at the end of a conversation. This engineered prompt directs the AI to generate an executive summary featuring bold topic headers, concise two-sentence descriptions, and an emphasis on the conversation’s overall sentiment. Notably, Google aims to prevent the AI from introducing unnecessary “fluff,” ensuring that the summaries remain transparent and to the point.
