Google Pixel 8 series will stick to 128GB base storage, says leak

Google’s next smartphone, the Google Pixel 8 series, is expected to be revealed in a few months. Fans of the brand have been eagerly waiting for its release, which is set to come with a bunch of upgrades.  While we are currently not sure what upgrades are on the cards for the Google Pixel 8 series, we’re certain that Google’s next smartphone will feature one of the best smartphone cameras like its predecessors.  However, a new leak has come to light, with disappointing information about the storage on the Pixel 8 series. It says the vanilla Google Pixel 8 could feature two storage options — 128GB and 256GB. The report also says that the Pixel 8 Pro could have three storage options —128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. If the report is accurate, Google is keeping the same storage options as the Pixel 7 series. Most likely, Google is keeping the 128GB storage variant to accommodate camera upgrades without a price bump. However, users will find 128GB inadequate when storing high-resolution photos snapped with a Pixel camera.  The report also sheds light on the color variants of the Google Pixel 8 series.
