Meanwhile, Meta’s new mobile-based video editing platform, announced surprise mid-Sunday, is here to fill the void. Edits coming to iOS in February, while its Android availability remains a mystery The announcement comes directly from Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram in Threads. In the post, Mosseri describes the new Edits app as an important tool for those who love to make videos on their phones. Image: App Store He also said, “There’s a lot going on right now, but no matter what happens, it’s our job to provide the best possible tools for creators.” He likely referred to the US ban on TikTok and CapCut. Either way, Meta’s new video editing tool isn’t available yet.
