After launching its first budget Android smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a), young tech company Nothing has announced two new pairs of wireless earbuds: Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a). However, this time, the company is abandoning its exciting numeral naming strategy and taking a different approach, which is interesting. Regardless, leaks and rumors about Nothing’s unreleased wireless earbuds have been flying out for the past few days. Valuable renders, colors, and pricing have already been leaked, providing greater insight into the upcoming audio devices. However, the new Android Headlines report reveals almost every other missing information about Nothing Ear and Ear (a). According to the outlet, the Nothing Ear will be the pricey variant, offering features like dual-point connectivity and active noise cancelation (ANC). The wireless earbuds offer up to 7.5 hours of juice while ANC is disabled and 33 hours of playback through the charging case. However, it will reportedly provide 8 hours of playback with ANC off and 38 hours with the charging case – it’s bizarre that the cheaper variant would offer a greater playback time with the same features.
