(permalink) Barbra Streisand is famous for many things: her exciting performances on the big screen, the small screen, and the stage; her Grammy-winning career as a musician (she’s a certified EGOT!); and for all the times she’s had to correct people who’ve added an extra vowel to the spelling of her first name (I can relate!). But a thousand years from now, her legacy is likely to be linguistic, rather than artistic.
