References to OLED 2024 iPad Pro found in latest iPadOS 17.5 beta

Apple is currently totally focused on the new iPad’s release. These will be the first new iPad models after 2022, when the company last launched new tablets.  The new iPad’s release date has also been subject to controversy. The new Apple tablets were initially speculated to launch in late March or early April.  The last rumor revealed May 6 as the announcement date, blaming the delay on the 2024 iPad Pro’s OLED panel.  Either way, Apple recently released the first iPadOS 17.5 developer’s beta, which seems to have confirmed the existence of the OLED iPad Pro and new “squeeze” features for the Apple Pencil 3.  Hints for the OLED panel for the upcoming iPad Pro models Image: KnowTechie The folks at 9to5Mac dug through the iPadOS 17.5 beta, released last week, and found references to the upcoming iPad models.  The references corroborate the new display technology for the new rumored iPad models.  Based on the references, the new iPad Pro models will be available in two sizes with Wi-Fi and Cellular options.
