In his 2015 biography, he\u2019s\u00a0quoted\u00a0as saying, \u201cif each successive generation of smart people has fewer kids, that\u2019s probably bad.\u201d Musk is explicit that \u201csmart\u201d people need to be having more kids \u2014 he has nine living children, that we know of \u2014 but doesn\u2019t go so far as to say that other people should be having fewer.
