In terms of capability, the chipset can rival Apple\u2019s A15 Bionic chip, in terms of capability with its robust CPU and powerful GPU. However, in early 2023, Samsung scored a big win by being the first to incorporate the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in its Galaxy S23 series smartphones, resulting in a more powerful and efficient system-on-chip (SoC).\u00a0 Now, after some time, other smartphone manufacturers will finally have access to the overclocked Soc.\u00a0 Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2&nbsp; Known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version, the overclocked SoC will debut on the upcoming REDMAGIC 8S Pro, as announced by the gaming brand REDMAGIC, in a recent WEIBO post. Image: KnowTechie The brand also revealed the overclocked SoC has a CPU clock speed of 3.36GHz. In contrast, the standard version had a CPU clock speed of 3.2GHz. We are also speculating the Leading Version will come with some degree of GPU boost, like the Galaxy S23.&nbsp; While the new overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 brings only minor upgrades, it still provides substantial processing power. Ultimately, the performance of the chipset will depend on its integration. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version performed exceptionally on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
