Apple is all set to introduce the iPhone 15 series and the new Apple Watch models at the “Wonderlust” event tomorrow. And this year, we are getting one of the biggest changes in the history of iPhones. Apple is finally switching from Lightning to USB-C, and it was implied the company would launch the USB-C versions of AirPods alongside, or soon after the new iPhones. According to Bloomberg, Apple is not ready to transition its entire headphone lineup to USB-C at Tuesday’s iPhone 15 launch. We may have to wait until 2024. No USB-C AirPods 3rd Gen this fall While we expect Apple to unveil the AirPods Pro with the new USB-C case at tomorrow’s event, any hardware upgrades are not expected. It will be the same AirPods Pro, but you will be able to charge it and your new iPhone 15 with the same cable. iOS 17 is expected to bring a few new software features like Adaptive Audio and Personalized Volume, but don’t expect any hardware changes.
