Apple Watch Ultra 2 to arrive later this year with 3D-printed parts

According to recent reports, Apple is all set to launch its successor to theĀ Apple Watch Ultra, aptly named the Apple Watch Ultra 2. The big news? Apple plans on incorporating 3D-printed components into its manufacturing process. Launched just last year, the original Apple Watch Ultra quickly became a fan favorite in Apple’s smartwatch lineup. Its rugged design, extended battery life, and improved display set it apart from its predecessors. Despite a hefty price tag, the Apple Watch Ultra was a hit among Apple enthusiasts – particularly those who love outdoor activities. It’s expected that some titanium mechanical parts of the new Apple Watch Ultra releasing in late 2023 will be made using this technology.” Kuo didn’t specify which watch parts would be manufactured using a 3D printer. However, he did mention that these parts would still undergo CNC processing for back-end processes.
