Carl Pei, the ex-co-founder of OnePlus, started Nothing a few years back with the promise of revolutionizing the Android smartphone market. The latest Nothing product, the Nothing Phone 2, is about the hit the shelves in less than a week. So the leaks and rumors about the upcoming Nothing Phone are already flooding internet feeds from all over. However, earlier this week, Pei tweeted one of the biggest changes related to it, knowing that the response would be “nice.” Enter the Nothing Phone 2’s USB-C cable Pei tweeted to show off the new USB-C charging cable for the Nothing Phone 2 with a transparent design. He revealed the design of the cable in a series of tweets where he bragged about how “Nice” the new USB-C cable is. Man our new USB Type-C cable is *nice*— Carl Pei (@getpeid) June 19, 2023 That said, the cable doesn’t look anything groundbreaking from the tweeted image. And from the looks of it, Pei has implemented Nothing’s transparent design language to the USB cable. A transparent casing houses the metal connector. The Nothing logo is etched on the connector, which is visible due to the transparency of the casing. Lastly, a row of dots is visible, but we are not sure what they represent. The row of dots may be LED lights, or they could just be normal grooves on the metal, and our imaginations are running wild.
