Apple recently released the latest iOS 17 beta version 7, with minor improvements. However, users have found new code related to haptic feedback patterns where we usually find the iPhone mute button. We wouldn’t have made too much of this new code, but a previous report suggested that the mute button will be replaced by the “Action Button” on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max (Ultra). This code corroborates that rumor. What does the new code mean for the iPhone 15 Pro Action Button? Source: 9to5Mac According to 9to5Mac, the new code indicates use of vibrating patterns when users turn the Silent Mode on or off. In the older version of iOS, there used to be only a quick haptic feedback for enabling the Silent Mode. However, there was no vibrating indication when the mode was disabled. Basically, if you are switching between various apps and settings and have programmed this into the Action Button, you will be able to tell if something’s enabled or disabled based on the haptic feedback. That said, this could be a game-changer if the Action Button and associated functions appear on the final version of the iPhone 15 Pro models. We won’t have to wait too long to know if that will happen. The iPhone 15 series is expected to launch next month; however, the iPhone 15 Pro Max or Ultra will reportedly be delayed slightly.
