iPhone 15 Pro will run console versions of some AAA games

We just crossed Apple’s “Wonderlust” event yesterday, where the Cupertino-based company announced the iPhone 15 series with USB-C, new upgrades, updated AirPods Pro 2, and Apple Watches with higher internal storage.  These new iPhone 15 Pro models are powerful enough to run “console versions” of popular AAA games, including Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage. While the new iPhone 15 looks amazing in new vibrant colors, it’s clear that Apple played it pretty safe. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max look quite impressive. Excited to play Assassin’s Creed Mirage on iPhone 15 Pro? At yesterday’s event, Apple only briefly touched on the power of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max’s A17 Bionic chipset, and what we heard was pretty impressive.  Apple developed the new A17 Bionic chip with TSMC’s 3nm fabrication process. It also features USB 3 support, hardware-accelerated (not software; Apple was very clear about it) ray tracing, an AV1 encoder, and much more.  While all these improvements are superb, what came as a surprise was the Resident Evil Village (The eighth installment of the franchise) and one of 2023’s most anticipated AAA games, the Resident Evil 4 Remake announcement. Both games are expected to debut on the iPhone 15 Pro series in 2023.
