OnePlus’s first book-style foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, was expected to launch next month. However, the launch date was pushed back due to the company’s decision to switch display manufacturers. The latest leak is not actually directly about the OnePlus Open. It’s about a different foldable smartphone, the OPPO Find N3. However, both are rumored to be essentially the same device for different markets. Will OnePlus Open have the sharpest display? According to Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Find N3 is expected to feature the highest pixel-density display among all foldable smartphones. The leaker claims that Find N3 will feature a 7.82-inch main display with a 2,268 × 2,440 resolution and pixel density of 426 PPI. In contrast, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 7.6-inch inner display with a 1,812 x 2,176 resolution and a pixel density of 373 PPI. Source: Digital Chat Station In other words, the OPPO Find N3, i.e., the OnePlus Open, will feature a larger internal display, and not only that, the display will be sharper and more detailed. The external display is also getting the same treatment. OPPO Find N3’s external display is expected to have a 2,484 x 1,116 resolution, which is far higher than Galaxy Z Fold 5’s external screen with a 904 x 2,316 resolution.
