Apple iPhone 15 could finally bring faster charging speeds to iPhones

The next iPhone event is almost here, where Apple is expected to unveil the entire iPhone 15 series with multiple upgrades. However, the biggest improvement is rumored to be Apple swapping the Lightning port for a USB-C port.  We’ve even heard rumors that some of the models could support faster charging speeds, and now we have a corroborating rumor that says the iPhone 15 will support up to 35W charging speed.  Apple is upping its charging game with iPhone 15  Source: 9to5Mac According to the report by 9to5Mac, multiple industry sources have claimed that the new iPhone 15 models will feature a higher charging speed of up to 35W.  The iPhone 15 could have a charging speed that is considerably faster than that of the iPhone 14 Pro at 27W, and the vanilla iPhone 14 at 20W.  In its current charging speed, the iPhone 14 Pro Max takes about two hours to fully charge, which is quite a long time when compared to current-gen mid-range and flagship Android smartphones.  In contrast, Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, features a 45W charging speed that lets the device go from zero to 100 within an hour. While the rumored 35W charging speed is still on the lower end, it’s a considerable improvement compared to the iPhone 14.  Last year, Apple also introduced a new 35W Dual USB-C charger capable of charging current iPhones.
